After conducting our initial research, the next step in our UX design process, was to create two well-made personas: Cassie and Pat. Both personas were based on our exploration findings. Research helped us understand the needs and perspectives of our users and represent those perspectives in personas to be referenced throughout the design process. By the end of our persona creation process, we were able to generate realistic use scenarios based on the perspectives of Cassie and Pat. These scenarios then helped inform future design decisions. For example, we chose a key fob as a method of entry to help physically limited users like Pat enter their home hands free.
